Description:	Our custom English Style Longbows are modeled after those made of white woods, such as Elm or Ash. These were occasionally used when Yew wood was not available. These woods were not as elastic as Yew and required a slightly different tiller in order to function properly. Bows made from these woods also did not require horn nocks as the wood was considerably harder than Yew. It is a great bow for target shooting, hunting, or reenactment. The bow is 72 inches in length and up to 1 1/2 inches in width at the handle, with a maximum draw weight of 45 pounds. The bow is flat on the back, round on the belly, and is made from Red Oak backed with linen. The bow is permanently finished and needs no maintenance.
